Train or transition in Epic Seaplane Adventures’ legendary DHC-2 Beaver, one of the most capable and respected seaplanes ever built. Available for a limited time, this opportunity is ideal for pilots seeking dual instruction, time building, or their Single-Engine Seaplane (SES) Rating.

Beaver time is highly valued—and often essential—for pilots pursuing floatplane flying in Canada and Alaska, where the aircraft remains a staple of commercial seaplane operations. Training in the Beaver builds real-world experience in performance, water handling, and decision-making that directly translates to professional floatplane flying.

DHC-2 Beaver Ground Instruction - $125 per hour

With over 1,400 lakes in Lake County alone, plus the Ocklawaha & St John’s rivers, and sunny weather year-round, our location couldn’t be more perfect for seaplane training! We are able to train in large open bodies of water with ACTUAL rough and glassy conditions, smaller confined areas, lakes, and river flying.
